For adults, Mexic-Arte Museum offers a wide range of public programs, including book readings, lectures, film screenings and panel discussions. These programs are usually free and allow those in attendance to gain further knowledge and insight into a variety of topics such as art, history, and social issues. Speakers have included university academics, museum professionals, authors, journalists, artists, and community leaders. The Museum also programs off-site tours at partner organizations to complement the current exhibitions.

Becoming a Tour Docent at the Museum offers the opportunity to learn more about art, history, and the museum field, as well the opportunity to meet exhibition artists, curators, and others who enjoy art and talking about art.
SPECIAL EVENTS At special events such as gallery talks, receptions, and family days, Mexic-Arte Museum always needs volunteers to assist with a variety of tasks including set-up, guiding visitors, answering questions, and hands-on activities.
