 | The mission of Mexic-Arte Museum's education programs is to enrich the community’s knowledge about contemporary and traditional Mexican, Latino, and Latin American art and culture. The goals of the Education Department are to create and produce education programs and materials to support and enhance each exhibition. The education programs are designed to mirror and strengthen the exhibitions, providing knowledge and skills for both youth and adults.
The Education Department also has the goal of upgrading the quality and content of its educational materials to meet the State of Texas standards known as the TEKS – Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills. |
